We are excited to announce that we have mobilized on our Genesis project. This project has a two level concrete structure with one floor below grade and the other above grade. This will be Enfield’s largest project yet with a total parkade square footage of over 70,000 SF.

Up to this date, Enfield has formed the elevator pit, and a quarter of the raft slab. We are preparing to pour the first of the exterior walls. These walls will be poured with vertical shotcrete, a process we have used on many past projects. Though the concrete needed for this process is slightly more expensive than a regular two sided form, using vertical shotcrete accelerates the schedule. On a project like this, we can save an average 1-2 days per side of the site. Many general contractors and developers opt for this method as it is likely the most cost effective schedule acceleration tool throughout the entire project.
