HOW WE LEVERAGE THE MANITOU ROTATING TELEHANDLER
At Enfield we believe our Manitou rotating telehandler is one of our greatest competitive advantages. Once our clients see it in action they tend to agree.
The machine’s unique design turns a lot of heads when it arrives on site, and even more when it begins operating and traveling around the site. We use it to move material, form panels, and equipment throughout our work sites.
The key advantage of the Manitou is its ability to be both mobile and stationary. This gives us the mobility of a forklift and the wide reach / speed of a crane. Time and time again we have seen this machine work extremely well on wide sites where one crane would
not have been sufficient to reach the entire site.
Recently, we have been training our team to use the remote console which allows the machine to be operated autonomously. This only adds to its versatility and further allows it to be used more like a crane in situations where this would be useful.
The bottom line is, we believe our Manitou rotating telehandler saves cost for the developer (as they don’t pay for a crane at the formwork stage), and cost for Enfield as we can perform tasks that typically would have needed multiple crew members.
